Quoting the scripture from Matthew 25: 35-40, at the end of time, the Master will ask of him what he used the resources given to him to do, and he’d be honored to say it was used for a good cause.
The ‘Park’ in Jesus in the Park was coined from organizing the program in the car park.
The Visioneer says that JITP is organized to make those who do not go to church to experience Christ in the park. To give food , clothes , free haircuts, free makeovers, free shoes from Daddy G.Os Closet which have turned into mantles.
In the visionary words, free shower pods should be expected in the coming year. Also, JITP is organized to connect people that are already blessed with those who want to be a blessing, to make people have access to resources. This Initiative transcends beliefs, religion, race to ensure to Jesus is revealed to people from all works of life.
In the Visionary words, He said that JITP 1.0 was a trial with no error, JITP 2.0 was even better, with a record of over 6,000 people catered for, this program led a Philanthropist in Canada to do the same for as much as 45,000 people and is even willing to Partner with LSC THE BRIDGE for more initiatives like this.
Other programs organized at the church include the prayer conference, Christmas Carol and Anniversary Celebration.
The Leke Adeboye Initiative was started by a group of Six teenagers to meet the needs of the nooks and crannies in Nigeria starting from Ebute Metta where 700 Individuals were taken care of including Widows and Orphans, this was in partnership with Pastors Seeds and some of Pst. Leke Adeboye’s friends.
Also, The viral video of the orphans singing ‘we are handing over’ was incorporated into one of the initiatives as the Orphanage which is located in cross River was visited and the children were given clothes, shoes, bedding and provision and in return they parted for them.
Another was held at a school in Mushin where 250 students were given uniforms, shoes and bags, a school library was also fixed, hospitals were visited to cater for the Nursing Mothers of newborns, including the Omo Baba concert which was done to cater for the Fatherless, 10 laptops were given out in the first program, later on one of the children who were given these laptops was able to buy one and contribute for the second year of the program helping to show that after the year he was shown love, he was also able to develop himself financially.
In this same initiative, 20 young Graduates in Ede were fully employed as transporters to cater for their families.
Another empowerment program organized at Mushin triggered the interest of a philanthropists to cater for the homeless living under the bridges and around that corner.
As the APICP-CSR, The Half-Time conference held at Unilag catered for 4,500 people of which their CV was upgraded in conjunction with Blak Skill.
A grant worth 500,000 Naira was given to CSR to each Parish in YP 1.
Also, 555,555.55 Naira was disbursed to all 66 Parishes in Youth Province 1 for the Half-time conference that was held this year, to empower youths.
